Finsure: Aggregation and Broker Support

Finsure is an Australian mortgage aggregator that connects broker businesses with lenders and manages their commission arrangements. It also supports loan processing and compliance. Its broker-facing brand is Finsure. Finsure Finance and Insurance Pty Ltd is the legal entity named in its website disclosures.

Finsure advertises Infynity as its CRM and has announced Metanoia as a staged technology upgrade. LoanKit is part of its acquisition history. Hai Money was a separate sub-aggregator whose agreement with Finsure ended in 2026.

What Finsure Does for Brokers

Finsure supplies aggregation services to broker businesses, including access to its lender panel and technology. Brokers retain their own client relationships within the arrangement they sign.

MA Financial Group owns Finsure. The parent group, Finsure’s aggregation brand and the company named in an agreement have different roles. Finsure’s website names Finsure Finance and Insurance Pty Ltd as its Australian credit licensee.

ABN Lookup records the entity as FINSURE FINANCE & INSURANCE PTY LTD. The “and” and “&” wording describes the named company. It does not establish that every Finsure-branded product has the same contracting party.

To check an Australian credit licence (ACL), start with the company named in the credit guide or agreement. Search that name in the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) professional registers and select the credit licensee register.

Match the business’s Australian Business Number (ABN) against its legal name in ABN Lookup. A group name or a third-party directory entry cannot establish which company contracts with your brokerage.

Joining, Credit Licensing and Broker Support

Finsure’s published onboarding process begins with an enquiry to its business development team. The team sends the relevant forms, helps complete them and passes them to onboarding staff for review and accreditation.

Finsure describes support for credit representatives and brokers who hold their own ACL. Membership alone does not authorise a broker to write loans under Finsure’s licence. Your licensing arrangement must cover the credit activities you perform.

For a credit representative appointment, ASIC’s guidance explains the licensee’s background checks, training assessment and written authorisation. Establish which entity authorises you and which lender accreditations you need before commencing work.

Finsure’s Broker Academy is a 24-month program for brokers entering the industry. It includes a dedicated mentor and software training, with pricing tiers based on qualifications and experience. Remote mentoring is available outside major capital cities.

For working brokers, Finsure describes compliance training, file reviews and professional development days. Its business support services cover loan-processing assistance and credit-policy guidance. Establish which services your membership includes and which you pay for separately.

Lenders and Finsure-Branded Services

Finsure’s lender panel includes more than 75 providers across home loans, commercial lending and asset finance. Your brokerage’s lender accreditations determine which panel lenders you can use.

Finsure Loans is the branded white-label lending range described on Finsure’s website. Each product has its own funding and lending terms. The aggregator panel and Finsure Loans are different parts of the broker’s lending options.

Finsure Thrive sits within the Finsure Loans range. Read the Thrive guide for its lending scope and broker resources. Assess each branded product under its own credit policy and accreditation requirements.

Infynity and the Metanoia Announcement

Finsure’s CRM page advertises Infynity. It describes client management, marketing tools and third-party integrations, with compliance functions built into the broker workflow.

In 2026, Finsure announced Metanoia as a replacement developed in stages. Australian Broker’s announcement report quotes chief executive Simon Bednar describing a gradual transition.

Finsure’s company posts describe Metanoia as upcoming, while its website continues to market Infynity. An announcement or a demonstration does not establish that every broker has migrated. Your platform access and migration instructions come from the rollout arranged for your brokerage.

The Infynity guide explains the platform in more detail. Keep existing Infynity user entitlements separate from any Metanoia changes in your membership terms.

Fees, Commission Handling and Contract Checks

Finsure advertises flexible pricing and commission arrangements. Compare the written proposal for your brokerage against the services and commission rights it includes.

  • Record the aggregation charge, any transaction fees and any commission share, including their GST treatment.
  • Confirm licence or credit representative charges, lender accreditation conditions and who handles complaints.
  • Check included Infynity users and support, plus separately charged processing, mentoring or marketing services.
  • Read commission payment timing, reconciliation and clawback deductions alongside any minimum production requirement.
  • Establish trail rights after departure, notice requirements and the handling of an existing book when you switch.

Match the contracting entity to its disclosures and licence record. Obtain the applicable Finsure logo-use rules before adding the brand to your brokerage’s website or documents. A logo does not establish your licensing authority.

The Finsure commission-rate schedule covers lender rates and clawback terms. For the membership decision, compare aggregator fee models and the main aggregator options. The switching guide explains how to assess the existing book and contractual exit.

LoanKit: Finsure’s 2013 Acquisition

Mortgage Choice sold LoanKit Aggregation to Finsure in 2013. Australian Broker’s contemporary report put the combined group at more than 500 brokers with a loan book of almost $4 billion. Those figures describe the combined business, not 500 brokers added by LoanKit alone.

The acquisition brought LoanKit brokers into Finsure’s aggregation business. Finsure described access to its branding and technology, with the support of the larger group. LoanKit no longer has a separate current aggregation proposition.

LoanKit was also the name of the group’s broker software. Finsure’s later platform is Infynity, which it continues to advertise. The old aggregation brand and the software name describe different parts of that history.

For an old LoanKit agreement, take commission or successor-obligation questions to Finsure with the original contract and any variation. The named parties and transfer terms establish responsibility for that agreement.

Mortgage Choice and Choice Aggregation are different businesses. Mortgage Choice’s sale of LoanKit does not make today’s Choice Aggregation, part of LMG (Loan Market Group), a successor to LoanKit.

Hai Money and the Ended Sub-Aggregation Agreement

Hai Money was a sub-aggregator under Finsure until Finsure ended the agreement in 2026. Mortgage Professional Australia reported that Hai Money collapsed following the termination and its brokers lost access to their credit licence.

Hai Money’s former relationship with Finsure does not establish a former broker’s current authorisation or lender access. A broker moving to a new arrangement needs the applicable appointment and accreditations.

For older Hai Money commission records, use Track My Trail’s Generic CSV template. Keep those records separate from the original native Finsure report families described below.

Track My Trail With Finsure Reports

We read both Finsure report families natively in Quick Analysis and Trail History: the head broker Trail Report and the sub-broker recipient-created tax invoice (RCTI). Upload each original XLSX file unchanged.

Use the head broker Trail Report if your brokerage receives it. If you only receive sub-broker RCTIs, compare two monthly RCTIs containing trail payments. Both inputs must be the same report kind. Do not compare a Trail Report with an RCTI.

From two monthly reports, Quick Analysis explains the change in your trail. It shows clients added or dropped off, discharged or refinanced loans and changes in balances. Quick Analysis stores nothing.

Opt into Trail History to keep monthly uploads for Historical Analysis. Missing Trail Analysis separates trail that stopped and later returned from loans that discharged, giving you the missing periods to raise with Finsure.

A Track My Trail customer recovered $1,450 from an account that had gone 25 months unpaid after the software flagged it. The report history gives you the loan and period evidence for a commission enquiry.

The support handbook explains the report choices. Sign in for exact layouts and upload steps, or contact us for help choosing the right Finsure report.

Finsure FAQ

I’m a Finsure broker. Can I use Track My Trail?

Yes, both the head broker Trail Report and the sub-broker RCTI work in Quick Analysis and Trail History as original, unchanged XLSX files. Use the head broker report when available. For sub-broker RCTIs, compare two monthly RCTIs that contain trail payments.

Does LoanKit Still Exist?

No, LoanKit is no longer a separate aggregation business. Finsure acquired it from Mortgage Choice in 2013. Old LoanKit agreements belong in a discussion with Finsure about the named parties and successor responsibilities.

What Happened to Hai Money?

Finsure ended its sub-aggregation agreement with Hai Money in 2026. Mortgage Professional Australia reported that Hai Money then collapsed and its brokers lost access to their credit licence. Older Hai Money reports use Track My Trail’s Generic CSV template.

Has Metanoia Replaced Infynity?

Finsure has announced Metanoia as a staged replacement and continues to advertise Infynity on its website. Its company posts describe Metanoia as upcoming. Brokers follow their own rollout arrangements for platform access and migration.
