AFG Flex is broker software built and supplied by AFG for lodging deals, holding customer records and selecting products. Flex sits inside AFG’s Suite360 technology package, but AFG must confirm whether your broker ID uses Flex or BrokerEngine Plus for lodgement.
AFG Flex Login and the Suite360 Sign-In
AFG’s Business Portal terms identify the Flex login as the Flex website. Use the access AFG has issued to you for that system. For general AFG access, follow the Suite360 sign-in guidance.
If your Flex login fails, ask AFG which lodgement system is live for your broker ID before resetting a password. Your files may now run through BrokerEngine Plus. Give support your broker ID and the error message so they can confirm the right access route.
After AFG confirms the system, sign in through its supplied route and check that you can find the file you need. A successful sign-in alone does not establish that Flex is the right place for a new application.
What AFG Flex Does
Flex is AFG’s broker software for the application workflow, from capturing a client’s information to product selection and lodgement tracking. Customer records hold the information for the deal, while the lodgement workflow takes the application towards lender assessment.
Treat Flex as a Suite360 component whose role depends on the access AFG assigns to your office. AFG’s technology page now describes BrokerEngine Plus for lodgement, customer management and product selection. Follow the system AFG confirms for your files when writing staff procedures.
How Flex Sits Inside Suite360
Suite360 contains broker technology beyond Flex, including analytics and learning tools. Ask AFG whether Flex, BrokerEngine Plus or another process applies to each file type your office handles. The product name on an old training document does not establish your present access.
SMART is a separate marketing platform with its own fee. AFG’s SMART page and published schedule list separately billed marketing services. Check AFG’s commission rates and fee schedule alongside your agreement before treating a website or marketing campaign as included in Flex.
What to Check Before You Rely on Flex
Before a new staff member starts using Flex, confirm these four points with AFG:
- Identify the live lodgement system for your broker ID and each loan type you handle.
- Record where customer records, trail reporting and marketing lists live, including any separate Suite360 apps or logins.
- List which lenders accept lodgement from that screen. Membership of AFG’s lender panel does not mean every application follows the same submission route.
- Record the fee lines for technology and SMART, plus any extra user seats your office needs.
Keep those answers in your office procedure. Another AFG brokerage’s screen or package is not proof that your team has the same access.
When Flex Fits the Workflow
Use Flex only when AFG confirms it is the live lodgement system for your broker ID and file type. If AFG directs that file through BrokerEngine Plus or a lender portal, follow that process.
Technology is one reason to choose an aggregator. Compare it with the lender panel, support, compliance responsibilities and your agreement’s fees when assessing AFG as an aggregator. The aggregator CRM directory explains other platforms without replacing those membership checks.
The Auto-Loan Mix-Up on Older Flex Copy
AFG Flex is broker software, not a consumer auto-finance product. Older descriptions of Flex as a car-loan brand confuse the software used by brokers with the finance a client requests.
For a client’s car-loan request, follow AFG’s current asset-finance lodgement or referral process and the lender’s requirements. Use the auto-loan explanation for the consumer borrowing question. Keep the loan product separate from the name of the broker’s software.
Trail Figures for Loans Lodged Through Flex
A loan lodged through Flex enters your trail reporting through AFG’s issued commission statement. A lodgement record alone does not establish that a commission payment has arrived.
Keep the lender loan reference from the Flex file so you can find the same loan on the AFG statement. For example, when a settled loan is absent from a statement, use that reference to ask AFG about the payment. The file’s submission status cannot answer the commission question.
Track My Trail reads AFG’s commission reports. Upload two monthly reports to Quick Analysis to see which clients were added or dropped off and how the month’s trail changed. The Track My Trail section of AFG’s profile explains the report workflow beside your lodgement system.
How to Confirm the Live AFG Stack
Confirm the system before training staff or changing your lodgement procedure:
- Open your AFG portal and note the product name on the lodgement screen.
- Ask your business development manager which Suite360 apps are included in your plan, including SMART and analytics.
- Walk through a recent live file and record the steps staff must follow. Confirm where they find the client record and the lodgement status.
- Save the fee schedule beside the workflow so the cost of technology and extra access is recorded with the process.
Your procedure is ready when a staff member can identify the correct system for the file and locate its status using their authorised access.
Clients who need independent information about financial matters can use Services Australia’s Financial Information Service. Keep that client information service separate from the broker software used to lodge their application.
