Stryd Alternative for Trail Analysis

Track My Trail is the Stryd alternative for brokers who need to explain changes in paid trail and find missing commission. Upload two aggregator reports to see which clients left and which loans started paying. With stored history, you can separate missing payments from discharges and follow the income over time.

Stryd suits borrowers’ loan monitoring and automated client outreach. Choose between the tools by the work you need done, because commission analysis and a retention service answer different questions.

Time to turn it around.

Mortgage Broker at Relax Home Loans

Track My Trail picked up $1,450 from an account that went 25 months unpaid. Had no idea it was sitting there until the tool flagged it - the app paid for itself!

I love that they continue to improve it and give me instant data on areas of my business I should focus on.

Choose Track My Trail when your statement shows less trail than expected and you need to identify the clients behind the change. Quick Analysis compares two monthly reports and shows lost and gained clients. It also identifies large repayments and where your income is concentrated.

Track My Trail also helps you review borrowers. Refinance Finder schedules reviews from settlement age and lets you return reviewed loans to the queue after 90 days. With each client’s open banking consent, it shows their current rate, balance and offset beside the trail figures. You can compare their rate with current lender rates.

Stryd describes its service as daily loan monitoring with refinance alerts and client communication tools. Buying trail analysis does not replace that outreach service. Keep Stryd when its alerts and client communications are the work you need. The separate Stryd guide for mortgage brokers explains its retention role.

Retention Signals and Paid Trail Compared

A borrower paying a higher rate and a broker receiving less trail are different events. Stryd monitors consented loan data and loan-to-value ratios (LVRs) to identify retention opportunities. A commission statement records what the aggregator paid, which can change even while the borrower stays with the same lender.

Stryd Track My Trail
Monitors borrowers’ loan balances and rates through consented open banking. Compares paid trail in two monthly aggregator reports and identifies lost and gained clients.
Uses property valuation information to assess LVR and loan opportunities. Identifies large repayments or drawdowns shown in statement data and the clients behind them.
Generates refinance alerts for borrower follow-up. Shows income concentration by client and lender, so you can see where a loss affects the book most.
Has email and SMS tools for client outreach. Builds settlement-based review queues and client profiles from Trail History.
Monitors borrower loan signals for retention. Adds current rate, balance and offset to Refinance Finder with each client’s consent, beside commission analysis.

In a hypothetical rate review, a client’s rate exceeds a relevant lender rate while their trail remains unchanged. Follow up with the borrower about their loan and circumstances. The commission statement alone would not reveal that rate gap.

In a separate hypothetical case, trail falls after a large repayment. Track My Trail helps locate the client and the balance movement in the reports. The next question concerns the payment calculation. A lower commission amount alone does not establish an intention to refinance.

Find the Clients Behind a Trail Change

Quick Analysis starts with the current and previous monthly reports from your aggregator. Drag in the CSV, XLS or XLSX files, then compare the loans and clients behind the totals. The reports distinguish gains from losses and show large balance movements. Quick Analysis stores nothing.

For a recurring payment gap, use Missing Trail Analysis with Trail History. It keeps trail that stopped and later returned separate from discharged loans. You can identify the affected months and amount when raising a payment question with your aggregator. One Track My Trail customer recovered $1,450 from an account that had gone 25 months unpaid.

Income concentration adds another decision. Losing one high-income client can have more effect than gaining several small loans. Looking at the client-level changes helps explain why loan counts rise while paid trail falls. Historical Analysis lets you compare stored periods without uploading the same reports again.

We support Australia’s broadest aggregator panel, including AFG, LMG, Finsure and Connective. The supported aggregator reports guide covers compatibility. Any other aggregator can use the Generic CSV template or PDF to CSV. On Elite Suite, PDF to CSV converts a statement into rows you check before analysis.

Use consented loan data for the client’s current rate. Use the commission reports for paid income. Neither a lost trail line nor a large repayment, by itself, establishes the borrower’s next move.

Stryd Subscription and Book-Size Costs

Stryd’s direct plans have monthly and annual billing, with GST included. Its single-broker plan includes one broker plus one administrator and up to 250 loans. Monthly plans have a three-month minimum term and additional-loan charges in blocks of 100. Multi-broker pricing uses broker seats, with at least two brokers. Promotional annual seat rates are separate from standard pricing.

Compare that loan and seat structure with the Track My Trail plan for your commission work. Excel Escape includes Quick Analysis. Pro Performance adds Trail History and Historical Analysis for the most recent two years of one trail book. Elite Suite includes full history and combines up to five trail books. It also gives the owner and four teammates their own logins at no extra cost.

Our billing is monthly or yearly and prices include GST. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time or change plans and billing from your account page. Track My Trail is the most affordable trail software on the market. It can pay for itself when it finds a single missing loan. The pricing page has current subscription amounts.

AFG brokers have a separate access route through AFG Suite360. AFG’s announcement describes an integrated loan book and single sign-on into Stryd. The partnership announcement covered a network of about 4,300 brokers. Suite360 access is an aggregator arrangement, so a direct Stryd subscription is a separate purchase decision.

Compare the cost of retention work with the cost of commission analysis. A lower subscription does not establish equal service coverage. For an AFG brokerage, the relevant retention cost is its Suite360 arrangement, alongside any separate commission-analysis subscription.

Choose Retention, Analysis or Both

Choose Track My Trail for explaining paid income, finding missing trail and following the book over time. Its client review queue and consented loan data also support borrower reviews alongside that commission work.

Choose Stryd when daily retention alerts and client outreach are the main job. Use both when you want that outreach service and a separate account of the commission your aggregator pays. The software comparison directory explains other broker tools by the work they perform.

Start with a supported statement such as an AFG or Finsure report and the previous month’s report. Quick Analysis can answer a specific income question, such as which clients account for a fall in paid trail. You upload the reports your aggregator sends. This workflow does not require a Stryd connection.
