Teachers Mutual Bank and UniBank Broker Portal

Track My Trail Team

The Teachers Mutual Bank broker portal gives accredited brokers shared resources for Teachers Mutual Bank, UniBank and the group’s other brands. Membership eligibility decides the brand, and applications go through your aggregator’s mortgage origination platform.

How the Teachers Mutual Bank Portal Works

Use the portal for the group’s policy guidance and forms, with upfront valuation ordering available through its tools. Your aggregator’s mortgage origination platform holds the application.

One accreditation covers Teachers Mutual Bank, Firefighters Mutual Bank, Health Professionals Bank and UniBank. The bank’s broker site confirms that these brands share rates, credit policy and the lending suite. Use the group’s resources once you have accreditation through your aggregator.

For a Teachers Mutual Bank broker login or a UniBank file, start with the official broker resources. Check application status and decision letters in the origination platform where you lodged the file.

UniBank Membership and Brand Eligibility

UniBank is a division of Teachers Mutual Bank Limited for eligible members of the university community and their families. Screen membership eligibility before selecting UniBank on the application.

UniBank’s membership criteria require Australian citizenship or permanent residency. They cover people employed by or retired from an Australian university, students and graduates, plus immediate family of a UniBank member.

A broker writing a UniBank loan uses the same group accreditation. The shared products stay the same across the group, while the client’s eligibility determines the brand. If a client has connections to more than one eligible sector, discuss the placement with your Broker Development Manager.

UniBank and ubank are different lenders. This group accreditation applies to UniBank.

Lodging Applications: Where the Work Actually Happens

Lodge through the mortgage origination platform available in your aggregator CRM. The home loan application checklist requires supporting documents in that application record. The bank does not accept them by email.

  1. Confirm the client meets membership eligibility for the selected brand.
  2. Prepare the application in your aggregator’s mortgage origination platform using the latest checklist.
  3. Upload all mandatory and additional supporting documents to the application before submitting it.
  4. Order any required upfront valuation through the broker portal before lodging the completed file.

Before submission, confirm the selected division is correct and every required document appears in the application. After lodging, return to that record for status updates and decision letters.

Home Loan Options Across the Group's Brands

The group’s lending suite has fixed and variable rate home loans. Redraw and offset depend on the selected product and loan structure.

The home loan product matrix sets out those differences. For example, Your Way Plus has an offset account option. Compare products within the shared suite after establishing the client’s membership eligibility.

For how the group assesses the borrower, see Teachers Mutual Bank pay and credit policy. Brand selection alone does not change that credit assessment.

Broker Support

The broker support team answers documentation and process questions, and helps assess unusual scenarios. Broker Development Managers work with brokers through the group’s aggregator relationships.

Raise uncertain brand eligibility with your Broker Development Manager before preparing the application. Explain the client’s university, education, health or emergency services connection so the discussion addresses the membership requirement.

Use the broker site’s support contacts and updates alongside Broker News and Events material. Your Broker Development Manager can also connect you with upcoming training.

Verification and Signing Tools

Order upfront valuations through the portal’s Property Hub link. The bank’s valuation and identity guidance calls it Cotality Property Hub, the service also known as CoreLogic Property Hub.

Digital verification of identity uses NextGenID through ApplyOnline or InfoTrackID with the required registration. The bank rejects InfoTrackID reports ordered through IDyou or another lender platform.

The broker signing guidance separates application forms from loan documents. ApplyOnline eSign applies to selected application forms. DocuSign can execute loan offer and mortgage documents, but it is unavailable for Western Australian mortgage execution.

Before booking the client, identify the form and property state, then choose the bank’s accepted identity and signing method. Our broker verification of identity guide explains the wider identity-checking task.

Managing Your Accreditation

Accreditation starts through your aggregator. The bank’s broker site publishes the required experience and credentials, with a broker accreditation form in its forms section.

Read the published accreditation requirements before applying. The process includes the bank’s online broker training after the aggregator authorises the application.

Use the broker site’s professional development material and your Broker Development Manager’s training updates to keep your process consistent with the bank’s requirements.

Limitations Worth Knowing Before You Submit

Membership eligibility is the first gate. A suitable loan product does not establish that the client can join the selected brand.

Applications and supporting documents belong in the aggregator’s origination platform. Sending documents by email leaves them outside the required application record.

Portal features and accepted methods change. Use the bank’s live tools and forms when preparing a file, particularly when carrying an identity or signing process over from another lender.

For other customer-owned lenders, compare the Australian broker portal guides before reusing this workflow.

Eligibility First, Then Lodgement

Start the file with the client’s membership eligibility. Keep the latest application checklist open while assembling the documents in your aggregator’s origination platform.

Raise an unusual membership or submission scenario with your Broker Development Manager before lodging. Finish with the correct division selected, required documents uploaded and any upfront valuation attached to the completed application.
