The Bank of Melbourne broker portal is BrokerHub, the shared broker platform for St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA. Use the brand on your application to choose its product and policy material, then confirm that your accreditation covers that brand.
The shared workflow handles lodgement and application tracking. Brand access and loan terms still need to match the file you are writing.
What You Get Inside BrokerHub
BrokerHub is where St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA brokers lodge deals and follow application status. Its product library contains rates, calculators and forms, with tools available according to your access level.
Select the material for the brand on the application. A St.George product sheet does not establish the terms of a BankSA or Bank of Melbourne loan. Download forms from the brand's current library when preparing the file.
For Westpac-branded applications, use the separate Westpac BrokerHub guide. The St.George group lender policy guide covers commission and credit rules.
Accreditation for St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA
A shared BrokerHub login is not proof that you can lodge under every brand. Before preparing a St.George, Bank of Melbourne or BankSA application, establish which brands your accreditation and account access include.
Compare the brands available in your BrokerHub account with your aggregator's lender accreditation record. If the brand for the file is absent, resolve its activation with your aggregator and the bank's business development manager (BDM) before lodging.
Keep the accreditation confirmation with your broker records. When you change aggregators, reconcile the lender permissions under the new arrangement before using an existing login for new business.
The Features Worth Building Habits Around
All three brands' Learning Hubs explain Digital Loan Acceptance, Active Settlements and ApplyOnline notifications. Use Digital Loan Acceptance as the default acceptance path for eligible files. Follow the loan offer's instructions where another acceptance method applies.
Review the Active Settlements summary each morning. It puts upcoming and active settlements in one view, so you can follow outstanding work against the correct application reference. An approval status and a file ready to settle are different stages.
Enable ApplyOnline notifications to receive application updates, then review the changed status before updating your client. See the ApplyOnline workflow guide for lodgement and notifications.
The learning material is available from St.George's Learning Hub, Bank of Melbourne's Learning Hub and BankSA's Learning Hub.
Access and Security Basics
The three brands link to Westpac's secure BrokerHub sign-in. Use your own unique credentials. Each team member needs authorised access under their own identity, so application activity remains attributable to the person doing the work.
Log out at the end of each session, including on a shared computer. Remove access promptly when a team member leaves. Update access arrangements when a broker's role or aggregator changes.
Planning Around End-of-Year Cut-Offs
Each brand announces its own year-end settlement cut-off dates in Broker Updates. Use the announcement for the brand on each application. Treat dates copied into another article or carried forward from an earlier year as unverified.
Map every pipeline file against the announced dates. Record its outstanding conditions, document acceptance status and settlement requirements, then identify who must complete each task. Set client expectations against that file's remaining work before promising a settlement window.
A Note for Bank of Melbourne Brokers
For a Victorian Bank of Melbourne file, use Bank of Melbourne's products and policy material. Its place in the Westpac group does not make another group's brand material a substitute for the terms on that application.
Bank of Melbourne's broker benefits guide describes its broker support and BrokerHub's searchable product library. It also describes application tracking and pricing requests. Use the brand's current product and policy documents for the lending decision.
Five BrokerHub Habits Worth Keeping
- Read Broker Updates each week for changes affecting the brands in your pipeline.
- Review Active Settlements each morning and follow up outstanding work on individual files.
- Use Digital Loan Acceptance for eligible loan offers.
- Enable ApplyOnline notifications and use confirmed status changes when updating clients.
- Match settlement promises to the brand's announced cut-off dates and the file's remaining conditions.
Portal analytics alone do not establish a higher approval rate. Assess each application against the brand's credit requirements. Build integrations around documented bank workflows, with the supported connection and permissions confirmed before using it with client information.
