Spending Limits and Approvals
The company credit card policy template turns your brokerage's spending decisions into an editable staff policy. Enter the cardholder roles and the limits for each transaction and calendar month. Leave undecided fields empty to preserve blank lines in the document.
For example, a $500 per-transaction limit and a $2,000 monthly limit restrict both individual purchases and total monthly spending. A zero limit means no spending. It does not mean unlimited spending.
List permitted purchases separately from excluded purchases. Name the purchase approver and state which purchases need advance approval. The exception process records who can authorise a departure from those rules. An ordinary purchase approval does not automatically raise the spending limits.
Receipts and Reconciliation
The cardholder submits receipts and purchase purposes to the recipient you enter. Set a deadline after each purchase and choose calendar days or business days. A deadline of zero means the same day.
The reconciliation owner checks the statement against the submitted records and raises missing receipts or disputed transactions with the cardholder. Enter a reconciliation deadline tied to the statement, such as five business days after it arrives.
Keep the purchase approver and reconciliation owner as separate roles when different people perform those tasks. The generated policy uses each role only for the responsibility you assigned.
Lost Cards, Exceptions and Acknowledgement
Enter the lost-card process for your brokerage, including the card issuer's blocking procedure and the internal person to notify. Name an exception contact and explain how staff obtain and record an exception before proceeding.
The employee acknowledgement records receipt and understanding of the policy. Employee names and signature lines remain blank for completion. This generator does not verify the policy against an employment contract, award or card agreement.
Acknowledgement does not authorise an automatic deduction from wages. The Fair Work Ombudsman's pay-deduction guidance explains the limited circumstances in which deductions are allowed.
You can edit the policy directly. After an edit, form changes stop replacing the document until you choose to discard the edits and rebuild it. Copy, download and print use the displayed text.
Print or save PDF opens your browser's print dialog. Download text file saves an editable document. Your entries stay in this browser. You do not need to enter a full card number or security code.
