Fintelligence: Asset Finance Aggregation

Track My Trail Team

Fintelligence is an Australian asset finance aggregator owned by AFG. It supports brokers arranging vehicle and equipment finance, with Ambition Cloud for client records and applications. For mortgage brokers adding asset finance, the joining decision involves a different lending workflow and income model from a residential trail book.

Fintelligence and Asset Finance Brokers

Fintelligence connects asset finance brokers with lenders and supports their day-to-day broking work. Its Fintelligence company profile describes a specialist asset finance business founded by brokers.

Asset finance funds purchases such as a work vehicle or business equipment. Residential mortgage aggregation supports home loans secured against property. A mortgage broker adding asset finance needs access to suitable lenders and training for those deals, even when they already have residential accreditations.

Ownership and the AFG Relationship

AFG owns 100% of the Fintelligence business. Its acquisition announcement identifies the acquired business as National Finance Alliance Pty Ltd, trading as Fintelligence. AFG bought an initial 75% stake in 2021 and completed the purchase in 2024.

Group ownership and broker membership are separate questions. A Fintelligence agreement sets your asset finance services and commercial terms. Establish which additional AFG services your arrangement includes before relying on them.

The AFG aggregator profile explains the parent group’s mortgage broking services. If you already aggregate through AFG, distinguish an asset finance referral arrangement from writing and submitting asset finance deals yourself.

Joining, Lenders and Broker Support

Fintelligence’s broker joining page accepts enquiries from brokers starting out and those seeking another aggregation arrangement. Begin with your business model and the asset finance work you want to handle.

Its lender panel page separates consumer and commercial lenders. Panel membership alone does not establish your individual accreditation or authority to submit every product. During onboarding, identify the lenders suited to your proposed deals and complete their access requirements.

Fintelligence publishes support for broker onboarding and accreditation through its in-platform Support Portal. Its technical support page also describes Ambition Cloud setup and troubleshooting. The training programme covers platform use and asset finance sales coaching, with online and in-person options.

Request the support inclusions for your agreement, including who handles a difficult application and any processing charges. A published training service does not establish that every course or support arrangement is included in your fees.

If you are moving an existing business, use the aggregator switching guide to organise the transfer questions. Compare alternative service models in the asset finance aggregator guide.

Ambition Cloud: Fintelligence’s Broker Platform

Ambition Cloud is Fintelligence’s asset finance broker platform for managing clients and progressing applications. The platform page describes document collection, pipeline views and lender connectivity. It also lists pre-filled lender forms and application status updates.

Use the Ambition Cloud login link Fintelligence gives you during onboarding. Access requires your assigned account and the permissions for your role. For a missing invitation or restricted file, contact Fintelligence support to check your account access.

In a hypothetical equipment enquiry, a broker records the applicant and the asset being purchased. The broker gathers supporting documents, prepares the lender application and submits it through the applicable lender route. Ambition Cloud helps track the file’s progress and outstanding work. The lender assesses the application and decides whether to approve it.

A submitted application and a changed platform status do not guarantee finance. Keep the lender’s decision separate from your internal deal stage. Fintelligence describes Ambition Cloud for asset finance, so assess it against that workflow when adding it beside a home-loan system.

Commercial Fit and Provider Claims

Fintelligence’s fit depends on the written terms for the asset finance service model you intend to use. Request a proposal covering the parts that affect your income and workload.

  • The commission split and when settled deals are paid.
  • Joining, ongoing and per-deal charges, including GST treatment.
  • Any volume conditions, bonus rules or repayment obligations.
  • Platform access for your staff and charges for additional users.
  • Included processing help and training, plus the support contact for escalations.
  • Exit terms, client data exports and treatment of unpaid commissions.

Compare your expected settled-deal income after those costs. A referral model also needs a written explanation of who advises the client and how the referral payment works.

Accountants Daily, one of the award programme’s hosts, lists Fintelligence as Asset Finance Aggregator of the Year in 2024. That recognition identifies an award and category. It does not guarantee your settlement speed or earnings.

Read Fintelligence reviews against the work your brokerage needs. A broker’s account of onboarding can help assess support expectations. Your own agreement determines the services and charges you receive.

Track My Trail With Fintelligence Reports

Fintelligence brokerage is mostly upfront commission, paid once per settled deal. Most of that income is not recurring trail for Track My Trail to analyse.

If your Fintelligence payment report contains recurring entries, use our Generic CSV template for those records. Two monthly reports let Quick Analysis explain changes in recurring trail. Missing Trail Analysis helps identify trail that stopped and later returned, separately from discharges. Use those checks where the report contains the loan and payment information needed for analysis.

For another report format or payment question, use our aggregator report support page. We analyse the payment records you upload, while Ambition Cloud manages the asset finance application workflow.

If you also write home loans, you can analyse that residential trail book with Track My Trail. Get started for free with a 7 day free trial and no credit card.
