The Granite broker portal is where you choose your accreditation form, find product documents and access Simpology Loanapp. Before starting a file, confirm your account and use the application route Granite specifies for your aggregator.
Portal Access
Open the Granite Home Loans broker portal for its registration links, Loanapp access and broker resources. These are separate steps: access to a product page does not complete your accreditation or submit a loan.
Granite lists Simpology V1 and V2 login links on the portal home page. Use the version and launch route assigned to your aggregator. The Broker Management Tool is also linked there for checking a security property's fit with Granite's location and property requirements.
Accreditation Forms and Loanapp Lodgement Lanes
Complete the accreditation form for your aggregator arrangement, even when your group already partners with Granite. The accreditation page separates its listed aggregator groups from brokers with another aggregation firm.
Granite's V2 integration list names Connective, LMG, Finsure, AFG and Purple Circle. It also includes Yellow Brick Road, Astute Financial, Outsource Financial, My Local Broker, Mortgage Choice and Smartline.
- Select the registration link for your aggregation firm and complete the accreditation form.
- Set up and confirm your account before starting an application.
- If your aggregator is on Granite's V2 list, launch the application through your aggregator's customer relationship management system (CRM).
- For other arrangements, use the Simpology V1 or V2 route specified for your account.
A standalone V2 login exists, but Granite directs brokers in its integrated groups to start applications from their CRM. If your CRM cannot launch Granite, check your account confirmation and the selected lender before raising the access problem with your aggregator.
The Simpology guide explains Loanapp across lenders. For lenders using a different submission platform, see the ApplyOnline workflow.
Granite's Product Catalogue
Choose the Granite product before selecting its policy documents and calculator. The product catalogue includes the following paths.
- Standard has its own product material and servicing calculator selection.
- Self-managed super fund (SMSF) lending has separate product sheets, application documents and calculators, including an Easy Refinance path.
- Lender Paid LMI means lender-paid lenders mortgage insurance. Its application library has a separate checklist and directs brokers to the Standard servicing calculator.
- Commercial Easy Refinance has its own product material, checklist and calculator.
- Non-resident and foreign-income lending has a dedicated product route. Use that route's requirements when packaging the borrower's income evidence.
Granite's SMSF product page supports eligible business real property purchases and refinancing. It also describes transitional residential purchase eligibility and refinancing of existing residential holdings under its stated cut-off conditions. Match the transaction to those conditions before using the SMSF calculator.
The training centre states that home loans for Specialist Disability Accommodation properties are unavailable through Granite. Its accommodation investment guide does not establish a lending option. Post-settlement forms are listed beside application packs in the portal's Resources menu.
Research Before Submission
Complete these five checks before lodging a Granite application.
- Read the selected product's policy and check the security location, using the postcode matrix or Broker Management Tool where relevant.
- Run the calculator for that product. Save the inputs and result with the client file so the assessment can be reviewed.
- Confirm accreditation and the submission route. For an integrated V2 aggregator, start in its CRM.
- Complete the product's document checklist and attach the required supporting evidence.
- After submission, record the application reference and confirm that the file has a submitted status.
A saved draft alone does not confirm lodgement. If a reference or submitted status is missing, reopen the application through its original launch route and check the submission stage.
Use the Granite pay and credit-policy guide for the separate broker-pay question.
Use the Document Library the Way It Intends
Download forms for every application instead of reusing copies stored on your computer. Granite's application-documents library instructs brokers to download before each application to obtain the latest version.
The library groups documents by product, including separate SMSF and SMSF Easy Refinance checklists. Select the checklist for the actual application, then collect the forms and supporting evidence it requires.
Use the training centre's Loanapp guides before entering an unfamiliar applicant structure. Its calculator training explains the SMSF purchase and Easy Refinance tools. Review the matching guide before modelling a complex scenario or entering its entities.
Track the Application
Use Granite's broker contact route for scenario, valuation and application-status questions. Its hotline is 1300 232 999: option 3 handles application follow-ups before formal approval, option 4 handles valuations and option 5 handles scenarios or policy.
Record the application reference, the CRM holding the submission and the last status update in the client record. Include any outstanding document request and who must supply it.
When Granite's service time changes, tell the client the revised estimate and record it against the application. Confirm progress through the original submission route before promising the next milestone.
