The ANZ Broker Portal is ANZ's residential home-loan workspace for accredited brokers working through ANZ Approved Originators. Open the ANZ Broker Portal login if ANZ has given you access to the new portal. The existing Residential Broker Portal login remains available for brokers using that system.
What the ANZ Broker Portal Does
ANZ's residential broker portal gives you access to home-loan application information and broker resources. The older name, ANZ Broker Distribution Portal, identifies the existing Residential Broker Portal.
ANZ introduced the new portal through a staged rollout. Its residential broker hub now invites eligible brokers to log in and still provides access to the existing portal. Use the new portal when your access is active. Otherwise, keep using your existing login while following the access instructions ANZ sends you.
For other lenders on your panel, use the Australian broker portal guides.
How the ANZ Broker Login Works
The existing ANZ broker login accepts your AO-SAO identifier or username in the Login ID field, followed by your password. You must have your own nominated access through an ANZ Approved Originator.
- Open the existing Residential Broker Portal and enter your Login ID and password.
- If you forgot your password or have not logged in for three months, select Reset Password and follow the prompts.
- If your password has expired, enter your existing details and follow the prompts to change it.
- Confirm that the portal opens under your own identity before using a client's file.
If the reset does not resolve access, email mortorig@anz.com, the login-ID support address published on ANZ's sign-in screen. Then ask your aggregator to check your accreditation and nominated access if the problem remains.
ANZ's existing portal terms cover nominated employees, contractors and agents of Approved Originators. Credentials must not pass between colleagues or firms. The new portal gives eligible support staff access with their own credentials.
Getting Accredited With ANZ
Apply for ANZ residential accreditation through your aggregator. A colleague's portal login does not give you accreditation.
- Join an aggregator group that can submit your ANZ accreditation request.
- Obtain the application information and requirements from the aggregator.
- Have the aggregator apply to ANZ on your behalf.
- Complete the accreditation requirements ANZ gives you, including any assigned training or assessment.
- When the application succeeds, respond to the ANZ Residential Broker Manager who contacts you and complete your access setup.
This follows ANZ's published residential accreditation route. For the existing portal, ANZ sets up a user ID and temporary password after approval or accreditation. Change that password at your first login.
What ANZ Qualify Adds
ANZ Qualify opens inside the broker portal with single sign-on. It combines UMI, pricing, lenders mortgage insurance (LMI) qualification and calculators for preparing an ANZ home-loan application.
In ANZ's Qualify launch instructions, select Calculators and Tools, then ANZ Qualify. The first screen shows your records, or an empty list if you have not created one.
- Create or open the client's record. Enter the scenario and use UMI to assess income against commitments. Complete the LMI qualification work where relevant.
- Request pricing using the same record. Information already entered carries into subsequent services where applicable.
- Use the results to prepare the application, then lodge through ANZ's application process.
A Qualify result supports preparation. ANZ still assesses the submitted application, so keep the inputs consistent with the documents you lodge.
Suncorp Bank Files and the ANZ Channel
Suncorp Bank, which ANZ owns, has stopped accepting new home-loan applications. Requests from existing borrowers also fall within the closure when they require a new application or credit contract.
That includes a top-up, split or restructure when the change requires a fresh credit assessment. Broker Daily's report of Suncorp Bank's broker notice explains that these requests may need a new application through ANZ or another suitable lender. Lodging through ANZ requires the appropriate ANZ accreditation.
For an existing Suncorp Bank borrower's routine servicing request, use Suncorp Bank's home-loan support or its home-loan specialist callback. Suncorp Bank continues to assess applications already submitted. Brokers receive further transition guidance through the Suncorp Bank and ANZ broker portals.
ANZ Portal Features to Check Before Relying on Them
Older write-ups attributed a broad feature list to the ANZ distribution portal. Treat each function separately instead of assuming the whole list applies to your login.
ANZ's residential broker hub now documents application updates as they happen, smart search and Broker Chat in the new portal. Its existing portal terms also describe access to submitted-application information, with limits on completeness and real-time reporting.
Those statements do not establish every older claim about document submission, dashboard customisation, business reports, electronic signatures or CRM integrations. Confirm the actual function and your access before building it into your file process.
Valuations also need a distinction. ANZ's Qualify help describes valuation tools accessible through its menu. That does not make every valuation step a built-in function of the older distribution portal.
ANZ Commission in Your Trail Reports
ANZ upfront and trail payments reach you through your aggregator's commission statement. Checking those amounts is a separate monthly job from using the ANZ broker portal.
Match each settled ANZ loan against the statement using the loan reference and client details. Check that the upfront appears and that ongoing trail follows. If a payment is absent, send the aggregator the loan reference and the affected statement period for investigation.
Track My Trail reads supported aggregator reports, including AFG, LMG, Finsure and Connective. Quick Analysis compares two monthly reports to show which loans were added or dropped off and how trail changed. For other reports, use the Generic CSV template or PDF to CSV. The supported aggregator guide identifies the report route for your aggregator.
Use the ANZ lender guide for the pay and clawback rules. A portal application status alone does not confirm that commission reached your statement.
Before Your First File in the New ANZ Portal
Make sure your ANZ access works before the next file needs attention.
- If you still use the existing portal, confirm your AO-SAO identifier or username signs you in.
- Save the sign-in page with its Reset Password option and the ANZ login-ID support address.
- Read ANZ broker communications for access changes and follow the instructions for your account.
- Once you move across, learn ANZ Qualify first and open a record so you can prepare the next scenario.
Before relying on the new portal for a live file, confirm you can sign in with your own credentials and reach the tools your file needs.
