Choose Track My Trail to investigate trail income and value your book, or Humbletech Commissions to calculate broker payments. ComplyEd, another Humbletech product, fits a separate need: managing a brokerage’s compliance program.
The difference is who handles the money. If your aggregator already calculates and pays your commissions, Track My Trail explains the reports you receive. If your organisation calculates splits and pays brokers, Humbletech Commissions supports that administration.
Identify the Humbletech Product First
Humbletech is the supplier, while Humbletech Commissions is its product for commission processing. Its other platforms have different jobs. ComplyEd manages compliance programs, including self-assessments and continuing professional development (CPD). Humbletech Credit supports credit submissions.
These names affect what you are buying. A ComplyEd dashboard shows compliance progress. Humbletech Commissions handles funder files and commission calculations. A capability on one product’s page does not establish that it comes with another product.
Track My Trail analyses the commission reports your aggregator sends. Quick Analysis compares two monthly reports to explain changes in trail. With stored Trail History, you can investigate missing payments over time and see the loans exposed to clawbacks. Elite Suite adds a loan-by-loan Trail Book Valuation report.
For a broker receiving commission, that combination answers what changed and what needs attention. A brokerage distributing commission has an additional job: turning funder information into amounts payable to each recipient.
Commission Oversight and Compliance Work
Track My Trail follows the income in your reports, while Humbletech Commissions calculates and administers commission payments. Compare those outputs separately from compliance records.
| Brokerage task | Track My Trail | Humbletech product |
|---|---|---|
| Explain a change in trail | Quick Analysis compares two monthly aggregator reports | Commissions lists portfolio reporting and forecasting |
| Investigate missing income | Missing Trail Analysis separates stopped-and-returned trail from discharges | Commissions describes reconciliation and exception handling |
| Review clawbacks | Clawback Risk shows days remaining and upfront exposure by loan | Commissions lists automated clawback handling |
| Prepare broker payments | Trail by Broker shows each broker’s share of trail | Commissions calculates splits and generates payment files and recipient-created tax invoices (RCTIs) |
| Maintain compliance records | Commission analysis supports the income review | ComplyEd manages assessments, CPD and registers |
Missing Trail Analysis gives you a record of the loans to raise with your aggregator. Each loan has a reviewed mark, so you can distinguish an outstanding investigation from one you have already considered. Commission Verification also matches upfront payments against trail expected within two months and identifies trail with no upfront.
Clawback Risk estimates exposure under the applicable aggregator or lender rules. It groups loans by the time remaining in their clawback period. That helps you assess the money at risk before a discharge, alongside your review of actual payments.
Humbletech’s Commissions page describes matching uploaded funder data to existing loan records, resolving validation exceptions and calculating splits. It also describes RCTI generation and payment-file exports. This suits the organisation responsible for paying recipients.
ComplyEd has a different record trail. Its product page describes historical assessment submissions, CPD logs and breach or referral registers, with PDF summaries and Excel exports. Those records document a compliance program. Trail-income analysis answers a separate financial question.
Data, Users and Review Evidence
Track My Trail starts with aggregator reports, Humbletech Commissions starts with funder files, and ComplyEd starts with the organisation’s compliance program.
For Quick Analysis, upload two monthly reports in your aggregator’s CSV, XLS or XLSX format. The analysis can be filtered by broker and saved as a PDF. Quick Analysis stores nothing, so retain the source reports and the saved result if you need a record of the review.
Trail History provides opt-in encrypted storage. You can upload up to 24 monthly reports together and resolve duplicate payments on screen. Historical Analysis then compares stored periods without uploading again. Pro Performance covers the most recent two years for one book, while Elite Suite adds full history and up to five books.
For a brokerage team, Elite Suite gives the owner and four teammates separate logins to the same Trail History and dashboards. Only the owner manages billing. Shared access lets the team work from the same uploaded reports, while reviewed marks and client notes preserve the context of an income investigation.
Humbletech Commissions lists Excel, CSV and available PDF funder inputs, historical file tracking and an audit trail. Its onboarding team helps import data and configure commission structures. The brokerage still needs to supply the correct source files and split arrangements for that setup.
In ComplyEd, an administrator configures assessments and CPD targets, then invites team members. Members complete their assigned work, while administrators monitor progress across the organisation. Brokers have read-only access to the document library. The administrator’s settings determine what an assessment status means.
Retain the original statement when investigating a payment difference. Record which loan and period you reviewed, what explains the difference and whether a correction is outstanding. For payment administration, keep the corrected source information beside the resulting payment records. Compliance submissions belong in the compliance record system, with the person responsible for reviewing them.
Commercial Scope and the Brokerage Choice
Track My Trail has monthly or yearly subscriptions with prices including GST. Humbletech directs new customers through its Initial Enquiry Form and a discussion of their organisation’s needs.
Excel Escape includes Quick Analysis. Pro Performance adds stored history and historical analysis for one book. Elite Suite includes the wider brokerage setup, with team logins and several books, plus phone support and a one-on-one onboarding call with the founder.
You can upgrade, downgrade or change billing from your account. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. The Track My Trail pricing page gives the current subscription terms, and the trial runs for seven days without a credit card.
For Humbletech, name Commissions in the initial enquiry when payment administration is the requirement. Include ComplyEd separately when the organisation also needs compliance-program management. A proposal needs to distinguish the selected products from the work to configure commission structures and import historical files. Assign responsibility for ongoing file uploads and payment review within the brokerage.
Choose Track My Trail If
Track My Trail fits a brokerage whose aggregator already pays commissions and whose remaining work is explaining income changes, investigating missing trail or assessing book value. The setup follows the reports you receive, with stored history available when you need to investigate across periods.
Choose Humbletech Commissions If
Choose Humbletech Commissions when your organisation needs to calculate splits, generate RCTIs and prepare broker payment files. Add ComplyEd to the buying discussion when your compliance team also needs assessment and CPD records. Keep the payment-processing requirement distinct from the trail-book analysis you need after commissions arrive.
