Quickli Alternative for Commission Analysis

Track My Trail is a Quickli alternative for commission analysis when your problem is understanding trail income after settlement. We show which clients joined or left your book and why monthly trail changed. Quickli handles lender serviceability calculations, a separate job that trail analysis does not replace.

Track My Trail picked up $1,450 from an account that went 25 months unpaid. Had no idea it was sitting there until the tool flagged it - the app paid for itself!

I love that they continue to improve it and give me instant data on areas of my business I should focus on.

An Alternative for the Income Question

Track My Trail answers what happened to your paid commission by analysing the reports your aggregator sends. Quickli answers how a borrower’s proposed loan fits lender serviceability calculations. A successful borrowing-capacity calculation cannot explain why a settled loan stopped paying trail.

If your spreadsheet takes hours to reconcile each month, our Quick Analysis compares two monthly reports and identifies client movements. Missing Trail Analysis uses stored history to separate trail that stopped and later returned from discharged loans. Commission Verification matches upfront payments to the trail that should follow within two months, and flags trail received without upfront.

These outputs give you a starting point for investigating income. You can retain your serviceability tool while replacing the spreadsheet work behind that investigation.

Before Settlement and After Commission Payment

Quickli works from borrower scenarios, while Track My Trail works from aggregator payment records. Before settlement, a broker enters the borrower’s income and expenses, liabilities and proposed loan details to calculate capacity. After commission payment, the aggregator report records the loans and amounts behind the broker’s income.

Quickli’s product page describes entering client details once to calculate serviceability across multiple lenders. Its pricing page lists a policy library and calculator exports. Track My Trail compares actual statement periods to show how your loan book and income moved.

Broker task Quickli Track My Trail
Calculate borrowing capacity Multi-lender serviceability from a borrower scenario Commission analysis from aggregator reports
Find lender policy information Policy library for scenario assessment Income and loan movements from payment records
Prepare calculation output EasyCalc exports and print-to-PDF output Quick Analysis results that can be saved as a PDF
Identify lost or gained clients Borrower scenario assessment Clients added, dropped off, discharged or refinanced between reports
Explain large balance movements Proposed borrowing calculations Large repayments and drawdowns recorded in the loan book
Assess lender share Compare serviceability across supported lenders See how trail income and the book are concentrated by lender

A borrower scenario describes a proposed transaction. An aggregator statement describes payments for settled loans. Each input answers a different question, so exporting a calculator does not produce a trail-income record.

Match Each Output to a Broker Decision

Use Quickli’s serviceability comparison to help build a lender shortlist, and use Track My Trail’s commission analysis to investigate paid income. Quickli’s policy tools help you assess which lenders fit the borrower’s circumstances. A lending decision still requires the application process for the chosen lender.

Quickli PRO also includes document extraction and generated loan submission notes. These functions help prepare application material. They are PRO capabilities, and preparing notes is separate from lodging an application through the relevant lender workflow.

Consider an illustrative brokerage with growing settlements and falling trail income. A serviceability result helps assess the next borrower but does not identify which existing loan accounts explain that fall. Quick Analysis shows the clients lost and gained, alongside large repayments that reduce loan balances.

For a loan whose trail disappears and later returns, Missing Trail Analysis supplies the unpaid months and amount to raise with the aggregator. Pro Performance covers the most recent two years, while Elite Suite covers the full stored history. An administrator can use Trail by Broker to isolate the affected broker’s income without confusing it with the whole brokerage’s movement.

Compare Relevant Costs and Setup

Compare the service each subscription buys, then match access and history coverage to your brokerage. Quickli’s pricing is based on user seats, with monthly or annual billing and prices shown plus GST. Our Quickli serviceability guide covers its plans and pricing in more detail.

Track My Trail has monthly or yearly billing, with prices including GST. Excel Escape includes Quick Analysis. Pro Performance adds stored history for one trail book over the most recent two years. Elite Suite includes full history and up to five trail books, with logins for the owner and four teammates at no extra cost. See our trail-analysis subscription options for current prices.

To use Quick Analysis, upload this month’s and last month’s supported aggregator reports in CSV, XLS or XLSX format. Coverage includes AFG and Connective, along with LMG and Finsure. For another aggregator, use the Generic CSV template or PDF to CSV, which is included in Elite Suite. Check converted PDF rows before analysis.

Our input is the aggregator’s commission report. Start from those records when setting up trail analysis, rather than treating a Quickli borrower-scenario export as a commission import.

Keep the Calculation Tool You Need

Keep Quickli when you need multi-lender serviceability calculations, and choose Track My Trail when you need to explain commission income. A practice that needs both outputs can use both tools. Our software comparison directory explains how other broker platforms fit beside trail analysis.

For the income task, start with two actual supported commission reports. Quick Analysis identifies your lost and gained clients so you can follow the movement back to the underlying loans. Use stored Trail History when your investigation spans more than those two periods.
