CGU Broker Portal and MarketPlace Login

Track My Trail Team

The CGU broker portal has moved to CGU MarketPlace for brokers. CGU's legacy notice tells agency partners to keep using their existing login.

Start from CGU's public broker page and follow its Broker log in link to MarketPlace. Use the route assigned to your business and role.

What CGU's Portal Handles

CGU's portal gives authorised insurance intermediaries secure access to the insurer's systems and resources. Access depends on the business relationship and each user's permissions.

The legacy notice directs brokers to MarketPlace for broker tools and resources. It also tells brokers to use the new site for help and support, without resetting their password on the old screen. Agency partners have a separate instruction to continue using their existing login.

A mortgage-broking appointment alone does not give you authority to conduct insurance work. Confirm your insurance authority and portal permissions before handling a client's policy or claim.

If a function is missing, check your account role and CGU's support guidance before creating duplicate work elsewhere. A colleague's access can differ from yours.

Set Up Access Carefully

Set up CGU access for each staff member's actual duties. Use these controls when someone joins the business or changes role.

  1. Use the official CGU address supplied to your business. For broker access, CGU's public broker page links to MarketPlace.
  2. Arrange a separate authorised account for each staff member. Keep login details individual so you can identify who completed a transaction.
  3. Apply the minimum permissions the person's role needs. Confirm the account can reach the required task before assigning client work.
  4. Remove access promptly when a staff member leaves or changes to a role that no longer needs it.

Use the Portal in a Controlled Workflow

Keep the client file matched to the work you complete in CGU's portal. Record the client's authority in the brokerage system before acting for them.

After the transaction, save its reference and relevant documents with that client file. Use approved channels for personal information, including when sending material to CGU support.

Write short process notes for common tasks. Name the account role required and the record staff must save when the task is complete. Keep those notes consistent with CGU's instructions.

If a transaction needs escalation, record its portal reference and the action already taken. The next staff member can then follow the same transaction without starting it again.

Check Access and Records

Review CGU user access at set intervals and after staffing changes. Confirm each active account still belongs to someone who needs its permissions.

Compare portal transactions with the client file. Check that the reference matches the client and that the authority and transaction documents are saved together.

When a function remains unavailable or a record is unclear, use CGU's official support route. Brokers can access help through MarketPlace. Give support the transaction reference through an approved channel.

For another insurer, use the Vero broker portal guide. The broker portal directory covers other insurer and referral-partner routes.
