The BOQ broker portal supports existing BOQ customers, including new lending for those customers. BOQ has paused new home-loan customer acquisition through brokers.
Accredited brokers can use the BOQ broker login to service their existing customers. The Bank of Queensland broker page explains the channel restriction.
What the Portal Provides Today
BOQ's Broker Hub has documents, forms and policy requirements for existing-customer files. Brokers can also make pricing requests for those customers.
The portal's existing capability descriptions include document upload, secure storage, calculators and policy and pricing data. Use the relevant forms and policy resources for the customer's proposed lending.
The Accreditation Sequence, Still Published
BOQ still publishes its broker accreditation sequence. Each stage depends on completing the previous one.
- Ask your aggregator to register you in BOQ's system.
- After registration, receive the invitation to the secure broker portal.
- Sign in, complete the online training presentation and pass its assessment. BOQ's Home Lending Policy is available as a reference during the assessment.
- Receive confirmation and your BrokerID after passing. This identifies you for home-loan lodgement.
A published accreditation pathway does not reopen new-customer acquisition. Apply BOQ's existing-customer restriction when deciding which files to prepare.
Serving Existing BOQ Customers Well
Check the hub's pricing resources before discussing whether an existing BOQ loan still competes. Base the conversation on the customer's current loan and the pricing available for it.
For a customer's next purchase or additional borrowing, test the proposed position against BOQ's published policy requirements. Existing customers remain eligible for support with new lending, subject to the bank's assessment.
For a client new to the BOQ Group, use the ME Bank broker portal guide to assess the group's ME Bank broker channel.
The ME Bank lender-policy guide covers the separate credit and broker-pay rules. For other new-customer options, compare the destinations in the Australian broker portal directory.
Claims About This Portal Worth Dropping
Older portal descriptions promised artificial intelligence features, advanced analytics, collaboration tools and expanded training. Drop those promises from your description of the BOQ portal.
BOQ's public broker material describes existing-customer support and its published accreditation training. Build your workflow around those documented functions, without assuming the promised additions are available.
Your Next Steps
Audit your loan book for existing BOQ customers and identify the files that need a pricing review or further-lending assessment. Use the hub's forms and policy requirements for each file.
Watch BOQ's broker announcements for any change to the acquisition pause. Quote only from the live pricing and policy pages when discussing a customer's options.
